Frequently asked questions

Answers based on verified CardScanR capabilities today.

Is CardScanR free during beta?

Yes. The controlled Android beta is free for accepted testers. Premium features are available during the beta so you can evaluate the full product.

Is it available on iPhone?

No. The public beta is Android-only. An iOS release is not part of this beta programme.

What Android version is required?

CardScanR targets current Android devices supported by the Google Play closed-testing build. Exact minimum API level is enforced by the Play listing for the invite you receive.

Does it support Japanese cards?

Yes. CardScanR includes Japanese card recognition paths and optional Japanese catalogue content. Japanese market pricing may be limited or unavailable depending on the card.

Can I organise binders?

Yes. Digital binders are a first-class feature for arranging cards, tracking missing slots and reviewing progress.

How is my information used?

Your application details are used to review beta eligibility, contact you about the programme and improve CardScanR. Collection contents are not collected by this website form. See the Privacy Policy and Beta Programme Terms for details.

Does applying guarantee acceptance?

No. Applying joins the review queue. Invitations are limited and issued after security readiness checks pass.

How are premium rewards decided?

Complimentary post-beta premium is not earned by signup alone. It requires meaningful participation and later owner approval under configurable programme rules.

When will invitations be sent?

After account-isolation and beta-readiness security testing passes. The public site will keep accepting applications while invitations remain paused.

Can I leave the beta?

Yes. Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw and request account deletion through the in-app / support channels described in our legal pages.
